The Jar

Here is a drink I made for Jordan whose nick name is Jar.

1/2 oz Ginger vodka (infuse vodka with ginger for at least a week)
1 oz patron Citronge orange liqueur
1 oz Campari

Shake and pour over ice in martini glass. Decorate with lemon twist.

Made up a new drink for Hannah.

1 oz lime vodka (infuse vodka with lime for at least a week)
1/2 oz elderberry juice concentrate (buy it at Ikea)
1/4 oz Patron Citronge orange liqueur
1 tbsp ginger syrup (make simple syrup, infuse with fresh ginger for at least a week)

Shake and pour in martini glass.

Tonight I made up a pasta dish.

Cook tortellini (I used cheese tortellini). While that is going on, fry up a hatch pepper, chopped (any green pepper will do or any color for that matter). Add a cup of halved grape tomatoes, I used yellow ones. When veggies are nice and soft, add two tbsp cream cheese, I used whipped. Add a little balsamic vinegar or glaze, about a tsp. Season with salt and pepper. Add some pasta water to make it all saucy.

Drain tortellini and add to the sauce. Serve with grated parmesan cheese. This meal takes about ten minutes to prepare.

Two of my faves, Omega and Jowell, in great remix.

Another Virginia Beach singer (Pharrell).

With all the music here on my blog you could really have a very groovy party!

Romanian dance music

These guys sing in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The English lyrics are cheesy and luckily I’ll never know about the Spanish and Portuguese since it’s all Greek to me! But the music is great.

Memory Lane

Since I have been going down memory lane I couldn’t resist sharing Andy Gibb, he died early but I loved him as much as the Bee Gees
