Father’s Day Food

I will attempt to chronicle our family get togethers so that we can remember and not repeat what we eat (hey, that rhymes!).

Don had a Lava Flow:

Muddle in bottom of glass: 1 oz white rum, 1 oz coconut rum and 2 oz strawberries. Blend together 1 banana, 2 oz pineapple juice and 2 oz coconut cream. Pour carefully over ice and strawberry blend. Should look like the lava is flowing up the sides of the glass. Do not stir!!!

Ann and Hannah had Finca Origen Malbec Rose. Olivia had black currant cider.

Chips and dip: Sour cream, fresh herbs and lemonaise.

We grilled marinated (lime, olive oil and fresh herbs) scallops and shrimp as well as veggie kabobs. then we had corn on the cob and hamburgers.

Dessert was creme brulee (which could have had more vanilla) with berries and of course coffee.
